The INTUS MOTUS exhibition is a path through psychological and emotional research, a universe of passions, insecurities, drama and raw and intense perceptions. It is a journey that the author chooses to travel from an innocent and pure exploration perspective.
In this exhibition, the questions that he suggests are more relevant than the need to obtain answers. Through experimentation, the observation of emotions and the intensity of movement, the experiences are condensed into works firmly anchored in introspective research.
That internal world runs through all the present works: it flows and envelops, permeates and reflects, examines and empathizes with the fragility of the human being. However, the objective will not be to repress emotions, but on the contrary, to sublimate them and thus, finally, understand them.
The creative process, parallel to the internal analysis, is shown as it is in reality: in constant transformation in time and space. As a connection between the different languages of existence, traces of paint, tools and external influences remain visible in the works, expressing their raison d’être and leaving a physical mark on the way to their realization.
In the images, the bodies are exposed in order to reveal the depth of the moods on the path of internal discovery; towards hidden, intimate and delicate areas of human nature.
The “here and now” moves away from the weight of its own static nature to become a space for constant observation, inspired by the daily life of the people closest to the author to be transformed into a universal feeling. In this context, the works transcend the classical idea of representation as an end in itself detained in time. Instead they focus on the deeper psychological condition, which is never completely still.
The search, the process and the constant evolution are the essence of the vital experience and evidences in which Intus Motus reveals its meaning.
