Argillà Argentona – International Ceramic Fair

The Museu del Càntir and the Argentona City Council are preparing to celebrate a new edition of Argillà Argentona – International Ceramic Fair on July 7, 8 and 9. The Argentona fair is twinned with the “ARGILLÀ” fairs of Aubagne (France) and Faenza (Italy), so the participants in these two fairs have priority to participate in the Argentona fair.

The hours of the fair will be:
Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. / Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (with a break from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.), through the central streets of the town, with demonstrations of traditional pottery, wheel and rakú workshops, film screening on ceramics , exhibitions of contemporary ceramics, clay footprints and others.

On the website: www.argilla.cat are represented the exhibitors who attend the fair annually and who want to be part of the Argillà Argentona website, with their work, as well as videos showing different aspects of the ceramic trade, such as a cooked with the raku technique, or demonstrations of traditional pottery, a virtual visit to the museum and other activities that we will add year after year.
