Barcelona Gallery Weekend 2025
September 18–21 | Barcelona & L’Hospitalet
Barcelona Gallery Weekend returns for its 11th edition, kicking off the city’s art season with four days of openings, exhibitions, and encounters across 24 contemporary art galleries. Organized by ArtBarcelona, the annual event highlights galleries as cultural spaces—sites of experimentation, discovery, and dialogue between artists, collectors, and the public.
All shows open simultaneously on Thursday, September 18 (12h for professionals, 18h for the public), followed by a packed weekend program of exhibitions, performances, talks, and guided routes (ARCO GalleryWalks)—all free and open to everyone.
This year’s edition spans neighborhoods from Gràcia to Ciutat Vella, Sant Antoni to L’Hospitalet, with programming that ranges from historic dialogues (Mari Chordà + Bruno Munari at Chiquita Room; Palencia vs. Serzo at Marc Domènech) to urgent political reflections (Regina José Galindo + Avelino Sala at ADN Galeria; Marcelo Brodsky at Zielinsky). Look out for big names like Aryz, Cristina de Middel, Clara Adolphs, and Christo & Jeanne-Claude, alongside Barcelona’s vibrant new voices.
Barcelona Gallery Weekend is the city at its most open—an invitation to explore, wander, and connect with art in unexpected corners.
