For millennia, the Mediterranean has been a pathway of knowledge and culture in perpetual miscegenation. The ships that crossed its waters extended intangible networks of ideas, intuitions and ways of feeling that still belong to us today. In the Continents exhibition, artist Xavier Masero focuses his attention on amphoras, which modulated the exchange and expansion of the Mediterranean culture for centuries. The sculptures on display at the Museum consist of sixty pieces of refractory stoneware and porcelain fired at 1260ºC.…
