Valentina Brostean is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the emotional landscapes between fragility, memory, identity, and transformation. Working primarily through painting, mixed media, and symbolic visual language, she creates introspective compositions that merge intuitive gestures with poetic and psychological depth. Her pieces often emerge from spontaneous processes, where texture, color, and form become vehicles for subconscious narratives.
Influenced by expressionism, surreal symbolism, and personal mythology, Brostean’s work investigates the tension between chaos and tenderness, presence and disappearance. Recurrent themes include the shadow self, protection, vulnerability, and inner metamorphosis. Through layered imagery and emotionally charged atmospheres, her practice seeks to capture fleeting emotional states and translate them into visual experiences that feel
