15 Ingredients: South Asian Food + Stories
Overview
Because our food is never just one thing.
Melam Collective takes over Mog, a small neighbourhood restaurant run by Goan-born chef Rachel and her brother Raul, for an evening of South Asian food and stories.
Rachel will cook special dishes with Mog's signature flavours: coconut, spice and the coastal flavours of Goa, alongside influences from across Asia. Raul will pour the natural wine he loves pairing with spicy food.
Between plates, we'll hear from Omer of Khana Familia and Pranav of BissiBissi Barcelona on the regions, ingredients and histories behind the food, and what "curry" actually means. Then it's your turn: question cards and guided conversations around the table, so everyone brings a story too.
Many origins. Many hands. Many homes.
Come hungry. Come curious.
