Frankie Malone

Frankie is an Irish visual artist based in Barcelona, working primarily with photography, while incorporating text, writing and poetry into his practice. His work deals with individual battles and our challenges as a race.

Frankie’s photography has appeared in publications such as La Mono Magazine, Adobe’s 99U Magazine, The British Journal of Photography and The Guardian. His work has also featured in The British Journal of Photography’s Edition 365 and PhotoIreland’s Halftone Fairs. In 2024, he held a solo exhibition at Can Ruti Hospital. That same year, his project ‘Train’ was selected by PhotoIreland for the TLP editions and showcased in ‘On the Irish Photobook’ at the ‘Photospace Gallery’ in New Zealand. In early 2026 his project ‘Train’ exhibited at La Tintoreria Art Gallery in Vic, Catalunya.
