Marcelàxia Collaborative Camp at the MNAC
This December, artist Marcel·lí Antúnez will transform the MNAC’s Oval Hall into Marcelàxia, a large-scale collaborative art camp. The installation brings together more than ten years of joint creations between Antúnez and various communities and collectives from across the country.
This ephemeral work celebrates nature, community, and art as shared, almost utopian experiences. Visitors will be invited to step into a dream-like world and take part in creative workshops for all ages, conceived and led by Antúnez himself.
Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca is an internationally renowned artist known for his interactive performances and robotic installations. In the 1980s, he co-founded La Fura dels Baus, where he developed some of his most influential performance work.
