Jordi Lafon – The Indissoluble Constant
October 1, 2020 - January 11, 2021

Jordi Lafon has opted for paths of rehearsal and perceptual experience in most of his projects. In “The Indissoluble Constant”, the artist places his gaze on a multitude of objects, and in doing so, he captures their immediate simplicity and discovers the imprints of matter and its waste.
Thinking and ordering objects that are considered common and simple is a complicated job. And through this exhibition, Jordi Lafon tries to relate objects to people and their environment in order to create their own language and an aesthetic way of ordering the universe. An installation that recreates and structures simple utensils to which almost no one gives importance.
Brushes, brushes, old palettes, bones, scraps of shutters, splinters of fruit boxes and all sorts of lollipops, utensils, crampons and atifells provide us with a wealth of evocative memories, aesthetic experiences and deposits as the main elements of representation.
Capacity is limited but admission is free, so don’t miss out!
