art in Barcelona

A magazine for art lovers and art makers.

FrikiFish is an artist-driven creative magazine sharing stories, events and knowledge about art, creative culture and emerging talent in Barcelona and its area of influence. It has become more than just a platform, but a means to make meaningful connections through creativity.

This is a space to celebrate each other’s creations, share stories, and support one another’s artistic endeavors. It serves as a powerful reminder that in a fragmented world, finding our tribe—a community that appreciates, encourages, and understands us—is a transformative experience.

Barcelona, with its rich history of creativity, faces struggles from the influx of mass tourism and the pervasive influence of commercial interests.

FrikiFish aims to provide information without participating in the commodification of art. We do not charge artists for interviews or sharing details about their events and exhibitions. We do not try to sell you hotel rooms or event tickets.

>>FrikIFish is a labor of love and is supported by donations from readers and artists alike.
